What happens to your wedding photos
Aisleful stores your gallery in the UK only, deletes it within 30 days once your storage period ends (Forever plans never expire), and treats you, the couple, as the data controller of your guests' photos under UK GDPR, with Aisleful acting as your data processor.
Who controls your guests' photos
Under UK GDPR, you, the couple, are the data controller of the photos and videos your guests upload: you decide what happens to them. Aisleful is the data processor, the platform that stores and handles that data on your instructions, under a written UK GDPR Article 28 agreement. This is the same controller/processor relationship you'd have with, say, a photo lab printing your guests' pictures, just for a shared digital gallery instead.
Where your data is stored
All data is stored and processed in the UK only. Aisleful does not transfer your gallery data outside the UK as part of the standard service.
How long your gallery is kept
Your gallery stays accessible for the storage period you chose at checkout, 6, 12, or 18 months, or Forever, measured from a start date you set yourself rather than your wedding date or the day you paid. When that period ends, or if you close your account, gallery data is deleted within 30 days, except where we're legally required to keep something longer. Forever plans never reach an end date, they're kept indefinitely.
