Connected apps

Use Aisleful from Claude or ChatGPT

Planners can connect their Aisleful workspace to Claude or ChatGPT, then ask about their weddings, update tasks, guests and budgets, and draft emails from a chat. The app works as you, with your role, so it can see and change only what you can.

What you need

An Aisleful planner account, and a Claude or ChatGPT account that can add connectors. Couple accounts can't connect apps.

The connector address is https://api.aisleful.com/mcp. It is also in Aisleful under Settings, Connected apps.

Connect Claude

  1. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Find Aisleful in the directory, or choose Add custom connector and paste https://api.aisleful.com/mcp.
  3. Choose Connect. Aisleful opens: sign in if asked, check the app and where it returns to, then choose Allow.

Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http aisleful https://api.aisleful.com/mcp, then run /mcp to sign in.

Connect ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Apps.
  2. Find Aisleful in the directory and choose Connect. Before it is listed, turn on developer mode and create an app with the address above and OAuth sign-in.
  3. Aisleful opens: sign in if asked, then choose Allow.

What it can do

Read: your weddings and what needs attention, tasks, guests and RSVPs, budgets, suppliers, timelines, seating, files, messages, questionnaires, leads, proposals, payments, the calendar, reports and team notes.

Change: add and update tasks, guests, households, budget lines, suppliers, timeline entries, seating, leads, proposals, payments and notes; apply templates; save email drafts; send messages, questionnaires and RSVP reminders; delete records.

Claude and ChatGPT ask you before they change or delete anything. Every change shows in the wedding's activity log under your name, for example "Sam (via Claude)", and many can be undone there.

It can't send email (it saves a draft for you to send from Aisleful), buy anything, change your plan or billing, or approve another connection. Dietary and accessibility details are never shared with it. Some features need a particular plan, exactly as in Aisleful.

Your data

When you ask Claude or ChatGPT about your weddings, the information it reads from Aisleful goes to Anthropic or OpenAI to answer you, under their terms and your settings with them. Aisleful does not read your chats with them. See the privacy policy.

Disconnect

In Aisleful, open Settings, Connected apps, and choose Disconnect. The app stops working at once. You can also remove the connector in Claude or ChatGPT.
